Although all good things must come to an end, it goes without saying that evidently Stix Douglas has NOT turned in his drum sticks to call it quits.
Instead he's taken on a new challenge and continues to play music. Stepping out from behind the drums, while sharpening his Vocal and Percussion Talents. Stix has been performing with so many different groups and individual musicians but has had more of individual success with his band JOYBONE
Although JOYBONE as a band no longer performs or records but, Stix Douglas will carry on the name with him as a Solo act.
The name JOYBONE is fitting in the sense that Stix maybe considered a "Dinosaur" or sorts. Being more of a "Front Man" in the old days of a Rock band or a "Master of Ceremony's" as it was called back in the day.
One thing is certain, even in todays world there is a time to Celebrate , a time to Dance and fewer opportunity's for live musicians to perform.
Just like in the past the Party Band named JOYBONE will continue only as a single act and remains at the heart of what Stix does with his performance.
Everyone elses music is only skin deep.....his will go all the way to your JOYBONE.....
